Lead at Cedar

In Cedar, we believe in student agency, that students have the ability and the will to positively influence their own lives and the world around them. Therefore, opportunities are provided for students to make and shape their schooling experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.

In particular, we have a robust student leadership framework where students are given opportunities to work in teams to influence and shape what Cedar is like for them as well.

Cedar Prefectorial Board Prefects are exemplary in conduct, role-modelling, inspiring and challenging the student community to live out the school's shared values and to create a postive school community.	Peer Support Board These leaders strive to develop a greater sense of camaraderie among Cedarians, aspiring to inspire their peers, with Passion, Synergy and Love. Peer Support Leaders foster a sense of care and inclusivity among Cedarians.
Monitress Council Monitresses across the classes aim to strengthen Cedarians' sense of belonging and unity. They help remind Cedarians of the school's values through their day to day tasks and duties.	Sports Health Leader Board Promoting an active and healthy lifestyle to the school community, SHLB encourages teamwork and camaraderie among students and even teachers.
